PHILOSOPHY TINY CARE

The Tiny Care program focuses especially on emotional learning , as the development of emotional intelligence is a significant process for the growth of every child,
promoting education in SERENITY and WONDER

The educational project , however, is based on an approach inspired by:
Experiential Method
Messy Natural Play
Movement and Imagination
Reggio Emilia Approach Method
Montessori Method
English Play Time
Teddy Asilo Nido is conceived as a multidimensional environment that stimulates children's learning and development in an integrated space where the experiential educational philosophy is realized not only in daily activities but also through distinct and complementary environments.
"MESSY PLAY ROOM"
A place where you can paint with leaves, build nests out of branches and straw, play experiential games with natural materials, and discover the world with freedom.
A magical place, where fantasy and nature meet"

Experiential and creative environment: designed to allow the child to live experiences
direct and active learning.
Children learn by doing and here they can experiment without limits,
Getting dirty and engaging all their senses. Every activity, from mixing colors, decanting liquids and solids, to creating simple experiments, uses natural materials and edible products, offering them the opportunity to discover, explore, and understand the world around them.
The materials used are carefully selected, preferring materials
- real and natural

Paper (boxes, rolls, colored cardboard, egg cups) Wood (spoons, bowls, trays) Steel (saucepans, tongs, strainers) Glass (bottles, containers)
Natural and edible
Cotton, leaves, shells, stones, wood, wool, sand, cork, water, flour, cocoa, vegetables, fruit, pasta, leaves, lentils, chickpeas, beans, broad beans, rice, spelt, cereals, food coloring

Very important in Teddy's nursery is the SETTING.
It plays a crucial role in children's development and learning. Everything is carefully designed to stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and well-being. A suitable setting offers children a sense of security, making them feel protected and free to explore.
The setting must be rich in visual and tactile stimuli and aesthetically appealing.
Using natural materials is essential for various reasons, ranging from sensory learning to cognitive development.

The use of fruits, vegetables, spices, legumes, flours, cereals, leaves, wood, water, soil, sand, branches, stones, dried flowers, grass, hay, and materials such as paper, cardboard, steel, and glass offer unique tactile, visual, and olfactory experiences. Children can explore different textures,
natural colors and scents, developing their sensory abilities and also helping to develop a connection with nature.
SOFT ROOM
Psychomotor environment: a large, soft space dedicated to movement and free bodily expression; equipped with two large soft structures, it encourages children to climb, slide, roll, jump, and run in complete safety and comfort. Every morning, children will participate in psychomotor activities, promoting motor development and emotional expression, which allows children to express their emotions and feelings through their bodies, fostering self-awareness, socialization, and independence.
IMAGINATION ROOM
Symbolic play and reading environment: furnished to stimulate the imagination, allowing children to explore different roles, situations, and stories.
By role-playing and listening to stories, children expand their vocabulary and improve their communication skills. Pretend play offers an opportunity to explore emotions and relationships, helping children understand and manage their own feelings and those of others.
Three mornings a week English PlayTime
OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES
Outdoor outings are important moments in children's development. Exploring the outdoors allows them to develop curiosity, motor skills, and social skills in natural settings, fostering a positive connection with the world around them.
Even in the daily context of the nursery, the outings allow children to live concrete experiences: observing insects and birds, touching grass, soil and bark, collecting
leaves and small natural elements, discover different colors, shapes and sensations.
Contact with nature stimulates imagination, richer communication, and the management of emotions in new situations. Outings thus become an educational opportunity, as well as a time for relaxation and play.
We have multi-seater strollers to ensure comfort and safety for all children while traveling. Our neighborhood parks, which are nearby, safe, and well-maintained, offer protected environments where little ones can gradually explore the outdoors and safely socialize with their peers.

ROUTINE

A peaceful and stimulating start to the day
Welcome and opening of the day
Upon entry, children are welcomed by teachers in a warm and safe atmosphere.
Story of the day: theme and preparation for activities
Each morning begins with reading a short story dedicated to the theme of the day.
The teachers have thought and studied the plots in an educational way: the stories are "invented" and constructed specifically to connect to the various workshops and activities planned, creating continuity between the story,
play and learning.
Connection between history and laboratories
Teachers intertwine the story with the day's various workshops, offering children a coherent journey rich in exploration. For example, if the story revolves around a color or object, subsequent workshops emphasize that theme (guided reading, experiential, symbolic, and educational play) to make learning concrete and meaningful.
Activities and educational approach
- Guided reading: language stimulation, comprehension and active listening.
- Experiential play: sensory and body-motor exploration to learn about the world.
- Symbolic play: simulating roles and situations to foster communication and empathy.
- Educational offerings: Activities focused on language, early mathematics, logic, art, and social skills, designed to be accessible to all ages and developmental stages.
Careful scanning of the day
The day at the Teddy Nursery is carefully planned, paying particular attention to:
- respect for the individual growth rates of each child,
- the type of game proposals, to stimulate curiosity and autonomy,
- the quality of the teacher-child relationship, based on listening, empathy, and mutual trust.

Adapting to the pace of each child
Each activity is designed to allow each child to participate at their own pace, offering moments of support, breaks, and appropriate stimulation.
The goal is to accompany development in a progressive and respectful manner, without haste or pressure.
Teddy is not just a mascot: he is an adventure companion who helps children to recognize their steps, to recognize emotions and to discover the value of routine as a territory of safety and learning.
There is a careful scansion of the day at the nursery,
with particular attention to respecting individual growth rates, the type of play proposed and the quality of the teacher-child relationship.
Settling in: To help the child settle in, we will start with shorter hours until they reach full-day nursery school.
The insertion is characterized by a calm, gradual and personalized approach.
This process begins with short periods of attendance, which increase as the child becomes more comfortable.
Each child is unique and his needs are assessed individually, thus allowing
to respect everyone's adaptation rhythms.
Relevant adults are always present to offer support and reassurance, creating a welcoming and stimulating environment.
This method promotes a positive transition, helping the child to feel part of the family.
of the group and to explore the new context with serenity and confidence.
